Another day with nice placements. Svale ( N UCH
Hirondelle de Lunduki) won the champion class and was once
again placed third best bitch. Gaby was second in the
veteran class and was in the last six, but did not get placed in
the final line up of four bitches. However we were more than happy
with another great day in the ring. Svale was shown by Ingunn and
myself and Gaby by Lotta and Ines. The salukis was judged by Diana
Allan (Jazirat Salukis), GB.

I was thrilled that there once again was such a
nice turn out for our specialty. Over 70 salukis were entered.
Both our girls were entered. Svale (N UCH Hirondelle de Lunduki)
placed second in the champion class and ended up being placed
third best bitch. Beautifully handled by Ingunn Solberg Eriksson
and Guro. Gaby ( Int N S UCH NV-04 Barakisch Narm Xubi de
Lunduki) placed second in the veteran class and ended up as
fourth best bitch. She was also handled to the tee by Lotta Rahm.
This lady was jumping up and down with joy, as both girls were in
the final line up. Judge was Ken Allan (Jazirat Salukis), GB.

In France the littermates from Gaby's litter at Qirmizi had
success again. At the international show in Macon
Jameeli was BOB with CC and CACIB under Jeannette Larive,
from France. Joshua won the CC and the CACIB as well.

Svale (N UCH Hirondelle de Lunduki) BOB and 2BIS.
Gaby ( Int N S UCH NV-04 Barakisch Narm Xubi
de Lunduki) was third best bitch and BOB veteran. She went on
to win BIS veteran. A really fun day! Judge was Arne Johan
Aastvedt.

Skokloster Summer Show Sighthound Specialty |
Only Svale (N UCH Hirondelle de Lunduki),
was entered this day. She placed second in the open bitch class
with a CK and to our great joy she was reserve best bitch of the
day (fifth). She was handled beautifully by Marie Frisén. That
whole afternoon I went round with a silly smile on my face. Judge
was Valerie Hamilton, USA.

Both girls were entered and both got a red
ribbon. Gaby (Int N S UCH NV-04 Barakisch Narm Xubi de Lunduki)
also got a CK and was placed 4th in the big veteran
bitch class. She later went on to win BOS Senior in the class from
10yrs an upward. Linda Frisén and Johan Rosengren handled her in
the class and final. Judge was Mary Parker, from UK.
Big congratulations to
Susanna Mäkelä on Qirmizi Jericho's Finnish championtitle
today. "Qimmo" won the CC and was second best male at the
allbreed show in Ristiina, Finland under judge Anne Klaas, from
Estonia.

July 25th
European Lure Coursing Championship, France |
Gaby’s Qirmizi offspring in France Q.Jameeli
and Q.Joshua represented France at the European
Championship. They have both passed their license this spring and
just had the time to qualify for the French team. It was great fun
to watch them compete, and the youngsters did a good job even
though they weren’t at the top of the list.

We had entered both girls and they both got
excellent. Svale (N UCH Hirondelle de Lunduki) was placed
fifth in a large open bitch class and Gaby (Int N S UCH NV-04
Barakisch Narm Xubi de Lunduki) was fourth in the veteran
class. The judge said that moms kitchen was a bit too tasty. So we
had a job to do with Gaby before the big shows in Lövudden,
Sweden. Judge was Tamas Jakkel,from Hungary

Excellent
news from
France!! At the
French Racing Championship held in
Parigné
l'Evêque with the judges Mr
Lassignardie B. (France) and Mr
Martin C. (France). Qirmizi
Jameeli
won both her races and could enter the top of the podium as the
winner of the French Championship for the females with the
CACT. Her brother
Qirmizi Joshua
enden up placing second in the
males final with the res-CACT after
the unfortunate experience of being attacked in both his races.

Helsinki under the judge Leif Lehmann

I am so thrilled! Great news from Sweden!
Heydar de Lunduki, the golden boy, was Best of Opposite Sex at
the Swedish Saluki club’s open show at
Backagården. The judge was Elmar
Sistermann from Germany. Many warm
congratulations to owners Barbro and Mats.

been lure coursing at La Côte Saint André. The judges were: Mr
Lacombe A. (France) and Mr Nowack
K. (Germany) Jameeli was 3rd
Excellent (366 points) and Joshua was 4th Excellent (364 points).

We drove down
south to Kristiansand for the
international show and again Gaby was BOB veteran. We
decided not to wait for the BIS
finals as the salukis were done very early in the day. Gaby was
just out of the ribbons placing fifth in the bitch class.
Judge was Diogo Ramalho, Portugal.

Our first show of
the year at Orre (Stavanger).
The judge was Hans Almgren from Sweden. Gaby now ten and a
half was second best bitch and BOB veteran.

home from Spain Chantal phoned with the following news:

CACIB.
Qirmizi Joshua the res-CC
and res-CACIB at the International
show at
Irun
in Spain. The judge was Mrs.Ekaterina
Senasenko from Russia.

At the international show in Châteauroux, France Qirmizi
Jameeli won Best of Breed, with CAC and CACIB under judge Mr
Klein, while Qirmizi Joshua won the CAC and reserve-CACIB.

Qirmizi Jameeli
and Qirmizi
Joshua
are also having a go on the race track. They attended their first
race at Montauban with success. Both winning CACT at their first
official race and they are qualified for the French championship
at the end of May.

After the good results in
Montluçon,
Qirmizi Joshua
and Qirmizi
Jameeli
had another try at lure coursing. In
Châteauroux, France
Jameeli won the
CACP and was number one and her
litterbrother, Joshua was runner-up
with reserve-CACP. The judge was Mr
Lacombe.

More news from
Gaby’s offspring in France. The
20th and 21st of March they participated in
their first lure coursing competition and the international
allbreed show in
Montluçon,
France. The Sighthounds which
participated in both venues competed for the best Beauty and
Performance Hound both in breed and overall
sighthound. On the lure coursing
field Qirmizi Joshua
won the reserve- CACP and
Qirmizi
Jameeli was placed third.
The next day at the show it was the other way round.
Jameeli won the CAC,
CACIB and BOB. She even made the
cut in the group ring though unplaced. Joshua won the CAC and
CACIB and was best of opposite sex.
Both Chantal and Franck were thrilled that Joshua with his good
show and lure coursing results ended the day as top Saluki and top
Sighthound in the Beauty and
Performance competition. Congratulations to
all with the wonderful results.

Gaby's two offspring in France, Qirmizi Jameeli and
Qirmizi Joshua gained their lure coursing license this month
and are now ready for the LC-season.

The two littermates in Gaby's Qirmizi-litter,

great day in Bourg-en-Bresse, where Jameeli was BOS with CAC and
CACIB and Joshua won the reserve-CAC at the international show.
