There was only one puppy in this litter, and Rubis had to have a c-section as he got stuck on his way out. He was a rather big boy. Being an only puppy he we decided that he should not leave home and so he stayed on to be the baby of the house. He grew up to become a well sized powerful saluki. His sire Int.Ch Sedeki Montebello Zakkar was imported from USA to the Har Kala Rachi kennel in Belgium. 

Diamond was a very chubby puppy, but in time he grew into a very handsome strong male saluki. He did some winning as a junior and in young classes, but only had the chance to get nice placements in the open class a couple of times. On the pictures under his placing 2nd of his class in the ring and the lure coursing earned him the points for most versatile male saluki at the French FALAPA speciality that year. Unfortunately his career was cut short by a lure coursing accident and he had to be retired. We tried to save his leg by taking him to a well known specialist in Paris, but even though they spent a day operating on his knee, Diamond never came back into the rings or on to the lure coursing field.

Diamond is the sire of the Lunduki F-litter.
